Brick and Supply, Inc. is a distributor of brick and related
masonry products. We cover a fifteen county region, including
parts of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina. With
a staff of 37 employees and a fleet of 11 trucks, Key-James
is committed to providing superior service and quality products.
The company is one of the oldest surviving
businesses in Chattanooga. Begun by prominent Chattanoogans
John Divine Key and Webster James, Key-James has serviced
the area’s building needs for nearly a century. The
current owner, Jim Large, acquired the company in 1983.
Key-James opened a satellite location in Dalton,
Georgia in 1997 to better satisfy the needs of North Georgia,
and then followed a second satellite yard in Cleveland, Tennessee
in 1999. These two locations give us the flexibility in keeping
the appropriate amount of inventory to sufficiently satisfy
demand.
Also
in 1999, Key-James moved into their new home office in Chattanooga.
