Designing a condominium unit takes extra effort. Careful planning is needed to create stylish interior design and factors like wall colors, furniture, appliances and furnishings all need to be taken into account. It is helpful that there has been a trend towards interior design and industrial design merging, and that developers are recognizing the need for these two areas of expertise to work together.
It is easier to present homes or condo units that are stylish and beautiful to begin with. This is the design principle used by Ana Marcelo, PTR Properties' in-house interior designer in Manila, Philippines She arranged the model units of PTR projects like One Capitol Condominium and 2/7 Residences. She said that when they were going through ideas for presenting the units, her idea was not to just lean on the Zen-style but also to present the homes as a 'classy-chic' place where traditional pieces and furniture can be used and still look updated.
