Kenneth Cobonpue is a renowned Filipino furniture designer whose works have become very popular in Hollywood. He draws his inspiration from his childhood home in Cebu, Philippines to produce modern design furniture styles that are now sold around the world. His designs have been featured in movie sets, leading hotels, and in the homes of movie stars like Brad Pitt.
For all the buzz over his work, Cobonpue remains committed to the elegant simplicity of his original style that is inspired by nature, using locally-sourced materials from Cebu. His mother, Betty, is also a famous local furniture designer in the Philippines. He credits her with inspiring him to pursue a career in design, and also gives credit to the faculty at New York's Pratt institute where he studied Industrial Design in the 1980s.
